Context: traffic exchanges, more traffic, website visitors, more visitors, Power Blog, Ultimate Rep, lead capture
I've located what I believe to be nearly 40 of
the best manual traffic exchanges to be found.
I am regularly using these traffic exchanges to generate more traffic for my chosen websites and I recommend them to you.
By regularly surfing these exchanges and, optionally, upgrading to pro memberships in the exchanges in the top row, you can get more visitors to your sites. You don't have to depend upon search engine traffic, only.
If you have more time than money, you can surf for credits. If you have more money than time, upgrade to pro in a few of these and buy hundreds or thousands of exposures to your websites, blogs, or splash pages.
I haven't done any testing to support this hypothesis, but I think it is probably a waste of your time trying to promote a page to make a sale using a traffic exchange. Everyone who is surfing is trying to get credits to bring people to their sites and are not in the mood to purchase something. So, if you can provide them with something that can help them promote their site, you may gain their attention in the few brief seconds they will see your site. For that reason, it makes sense to me to offer free advertising, other traffic exchanges they can join, or a fast-loading splash page with your best offer.
If you have a landing page that can get their name and email address to add to your mailing list, that is even better.
Help the folks who are surfing the traffic exchanges to get what they want and they may be inclined to give you their contact information to get it. Then, you will have multiple opportunities to offer them more helpful resources and to promote your products and services on the back end, after they learn to respect your advice. That surely beats a tiny window of a few seconds trying to make a direct sale, doesn't it?
Promoting a sales page through the traffic exchanges, I believe, is just a waste of your time and effort.
Some of the pages I will be promoting over the next few months are discussed below. I am not an expert on traffic exchanges, but I am doing my best to learn what is effective for building more traffic, getting more leads, and maybe making more sales down the road.
Peter Dobler's
Power Blog offers Internet marketing tips and information, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Peter has done an amazing job with the Power Blog. It is designed so that
I can refer visitors directly to it, and the affiliate links will automatically present my codes. If you were a member of the Power Blog and referred someone, it would show your affiliate codes. How's that for being a powerful sales and recruiting machine? Not only that, but Peter is actively maintaining a downline builder to help you sponsor new affiliates in quite a few programs, and he's adding more just about every week. I haven't even begun to take advantage of all the
Power Blog offers, but I'm working on it.
Kevin Anderson is building the
Ultimate Rep program which is designed to create multiple streams of residual income by promoting several high-quality organizations. I'll be promoting one of the
traffic exchange lead capture pages on the exchanges. On some of the exchanges, this page recognizes the surfer's username and actually speaks their name - which should get someone's attention. The page also offers information on how to build more traffic and more income using the method Kevin has used successfully. In order to get this information, the surfer has to provide at least name and email, which will be followed up numerous times over the succeeding days, unless the prospect unsubscribes.
Michael Cobb is creating the
Home Income Team system to help people be more successful in their online marketing efforts by following a system. I'll be promoting a
lead capture page that offers a free report in return for the surfer's contact information. The Home Income Team also has an excellent downline builder in place.
Join at least one
traffic exchange today. If you can only join a few, join the exchanges in the top row.
